It’s early (for me) I’m up.  For the second day in a row I am feeling quite jovial.  I feel rested, I feel centered and I feel good.  Let’s go with that, lol

So as you can see - I switched it up and cut off my hair.  I had no qualms about it.  Underneath my ‘accessories’  I had grown it out to just brushing my shoulders.  However, due to the DIY hairstyles and what not, I knew that hair needed to go and we should start again.  I found all these cool gray hairs and they look good through out.  Mini me got her do did as well and went under the wax for the eyebrows for the first time.  She’s happy. 

 

Caun has been grinning and chasing me the hell around the house all evening, lol

 

So what’s on my mind before work this morning…

Mini-me looks like she got into the Delta GEMS. I am beyond excited!!  She can Debutante under them and now more than ever I am eagerly awaiting Alumni Rush in my area.  YES!

 

The Fresh Fest is coming to town: Naughty by Nature, Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Whodini & the Force MDs (though I find this weird since several members have passed - who are these folks?)  and Janet and I are going!  It’s an interesting time when they got Old School Rap concerts just for us 80 babies, lol lol  We are trying to decide if we are going as Queen Latifah/Monie Love or Salt and Pepa cause we ARE dressing the part, lol lol

Today is pay day and that means one thing:  $10 worth of Muscadines!!!

When I hit the lottery - I want my vacation home to be in Costa Rica.  House Hunters International showed me that.

I laugh when Eric Benet comes on and Caun goes Eric BeNO only to get mad when I tell him we also got married with his music, lol lol

 

Where exactly are the smash and grab people selling these wares?  Just asking, lol

 

I am going to have to face the fact that Naturalizer shoes are NOT a bad thing.  Keeping my feet is a good thing.

 

I guess Ciara ran out of options eh?  I cant’ put that on the cocktail table

 

Tyra was fierce in her face and hair game last night. I quite enjoyed looking at her. Make up Flawless dayum!
That whole outer space thing was corny.  The girls are all healthy looking this season. I didn’t watch last season so that Whitney girl wasn’t doing anything for me in that commercial but the commercial about what they are doing now and that great plug for Toccarra was nice.  The girl that got kicked off was almost like Joan Rivers or something - what in the world? Then all that drama - I got confused and didn’t know who the hell got kicked off.
Don’t you love Miss Jay’s Contestant Necklace for this season, lol lol  ISIS wasn’t bad. Shims pictures was fierce actually, as well as shim actually knows the technical which those other girls don’t. They gonna be low down on her though - so shim better get ready.  I think I might like this season.

OH and that Asian Gurl:  she represents what happens when you so busy selling weave and doing nails that you don’t keep an eye on your daughter around Born Truth and nem, lol lol

And have YOU seen Nigel in his modeling days?  It’s ok, you can lick the screen. 

 

The Travel Channel has picked up Amazing Race.  I haven’t watched in a few seasons but I feel like I want to again.

 

Mini-me took a mock ‘Graduation’ Test and passed, she was the only one…in a room full of 11th graders. 

 

3 A’s and a B in her first HS progress report!  She said HS is harder than she thought.

 

Ok I had some brilliance, I swear, lol but for some reason it is gone - Ya’ll have a good weekend!
