Over these last four days, there has been a mixture of feelings, emotions and call to actions.  I have NEVER watched a Democratic National Convention, I can’t say that I was or am well versed in the ways of politics and politicians.  I can’t even say that I have 100% faith in the political process, BUT I am intelligent enough to know that one who sits on their ass WILL end up with a sore ass, so I try.

After watching Democratic Nominee Barack Obama get some bass in his voice, speak to a crowd that looked like a Rolling Stone/Michael Jackson type crowd and watching that beautiful family stand on that stage - I couldn’t help but think in a smaller scale,

In the competitive world of men, Barack has set the bar so high that a whole slew of black men just got nose bleeds and fell the fuck out.  It seemed that a lot of you had a chance to pass the plate of BS when the hero figure was tied to sports and entertainment.  If a Blackman makes it to the white house, be duly noted that YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO UP YOUR GAME!!!  Those brothers who’s game is straight will keep it even more tight, but it’s you ones that are slipping, have slipped or remain flat on your back that are going to have to either shape up or quite frankly get the fuck out!  If you are not taking care of your family, if you are finding yourself at 45, if you are incapable of taking charge in your home and in your community, if you got more excuses than a man on death row, if you are incapable of being honorable, truthful, faithful, reliable - then please excuse yourself from the party, cause you are definitely dead weight.

I cant’ speak for all women, hell I can’t speak for any women, lol  We all got our own journeys, feelings, hopes, dreams, scars etc. but I don’t want to Barack to have to carry the picture of what a black man should be on his back - he’s gonna have a country to run, I want to walk around and be like that is the way all ‘my’ men are!   I know, I know it’s gonna be hard Martin and Malcolm could only get a few of you all, but on this Anniversary of Martins speech on Washington - let’s look within and up the whole black quotient.

Which leads me to one more itty bitty small post script to this post/letter and it involves

NIGGAS!! Male, Female, Young, Old

From this day forth, we don’t want to hear your ignorant problems.  We are tired of your inability to unshackle your brain bringing us down.  Stop fucking up our neighborhoods, malls, schools, jobs, and everything else you have the knack for fucking up.

Get away from us with the sagging pants, unkept hair/beards, naked bodies, hoochie dancing, gold teeth, drug using, violence begetting, loud mouths, selves. 

Come get your ignorant underachieving children

As a matter of fact - gracefully without alot of fan fare take some advice from Joe Clark and just GET THE HELL OUT!!  It’s been over 420 years we’ve put up with your bullshit. It’s gotten old, it’s gotten tiring and we really dont wanna fuck wit ya’ll no more.

And don’t start whining about being stereotyped, it’s the man etc. etc. etc.  If the shoe fit (and it’s probably too expensive for your income at that) then wear it.  You almost rocked me to sleep with the whole it’s a stereotype but NAHHHH I ain’t falling for that again.  I see you every single day - I wear glasses but I’m not blind, you are not a figment of my imagination. 

You will no longer be allowed to be the visual that is presented to the world. Keep your shower cap non speaking correct english ass off the news!!! 

I dont’ know when and I don’t know wear, cause I think we wanna use a sneak attack, we are about to start checking ya’ll.  You won’t be sitting at the big table at Thanksgiving, You won’t get a speaking part at the family reunion.  You won’t even be allowed to come!
