The Sunshine On My Face
Hey friends! I know I know..what had happened was….I have just been busy. It’s been awhile since I’ve been too busy to blog, but that was just the case. Between work, home, family, dances and graduations, I have not been able to get my mind right to blog.
I’m sitting here now about to start and finish up a project I couldn’t do this week because I was doing other things for the job. I don’t want to be in her working my JOB on a Sunday, the sun is gorgeous today, but such is life.
Well we have survived the first dance. I’ll save my ‘musings’ for Monday, but she had a good time and is happy as a lark. The whole milestones for the teenager, thing can certainly kill you. I’ve felt my heart stop a dozen times in the last couple of days. They grow up, they really do. SIGH The Bright spot was look how ‘thin’ I’m presenting in that picture, lol lol Setting my next 5 lb. goal for after my mom leaves, cause I know it’s gonna be hard.
I love this new texture of ‘hair’ I put in during my re-install at like 7am on Saturday morning. My body is so set these days. I can’t sleep late. I hate that! If I go to bed at midnite, then I’m up around 6:30. SIGH SIGH. I’ll be rocking this texture a couple more times.
One of the things I was working on was decorating for a contest. It was themed "Music through the Ages" and I brought Motown out in full force. 
On a budget of $30 we (Marguita Stewart and I) took our vision and made it real. We were quite satisfied and loved it. We didn’t win, Score one for the Dollar Store. I won’t go there - but Motown might have been a bit too much Fro Town..Oh well, ease on down, ease on down the road. Don’t you carry nothing that might be a load - come on ease on down, ease on down the road!
Well I just wanted to drop in and let ya’ll know that I’m alive. Should be an active week. I’ll have all kinds of events and what not seeing as this is Graduation week, Momma visit week etc. etc.
