HOla como Estas

Hola! Como Estas? Feliz Cinco de Mayo! I’m anticipating getting home and cracking open the Corona. I am on a mission to find out how much beer will get me tipsy. I haven’t been a beer drinker, but within the last year or so I have started sipping on the suds a bit, lol my tastes are expanding.
This weekend was so hectic, but it is kinda fuzzy exactly what I did besides blow through two paychecks. We have all these discussions about monetary matters and then say fuck it. SIGH.
We officially started the summer movie extravaganza with Ironman this weekend. YEA! is all I have to say. It was good. It was quite witty as well. I am a bit disturbed that nowadays all enemies are from the middle east. What happen to the good ole Russians/Germans? LOL I liked the movie because the CGI enhanced it and didn’t take away from it. Robert Downey was good as well. Oh and stay till the credits roll. I am excited about alot of movies coming out. We are saving the Drive In for when my mom comes and Indiana Jones comes out.
Despite the vomit that kept rising from my gut - I worked on Mothers Day projects with BCPC as well. That broad took us thru the wringer this weekend, and I really had to get by myself and focus - but we made it through. I know what needs to be done and so does CAUN, we need to stop this bullshit with the quickness. We have decided to just back off the stay with us for the summer. FUCK HER! (excuse my language) I tell ya’ll, I am glad I don’t have any friends playing these bullshit games and if I find out I do - we aren’t friends anymore. This is a deal breaker for me! The project came out nice and we got some of my mom and his mom’s stuff done as well. I have to get that stuff out before Wednesday, so I’ll be wrapping that up this evening.
Sunday was hair day. Mini-me needed hers washed and done and after careful consideration and reviewing in my head the money I’ve spent on clothes, books, shoes, mothers day coming up/graduation day coming up - I couldn’t justify spending upwards of $250 on hair right now, so I scratched the $200 part went up to my ’spot’ and got my supplies. I went on the adventure of sewing myself in some tracks. I did it (I’ll post some pictures this evening). It wasn’t bad. Sewing is easy. The corn rowing was tiresome, but not impossible. What I learned though was that my hair is very wispy and even without a relaxer for I guess about 4 weeks, I don’t know if I have the ‘weight’ of hair to carry the braid. I doubled them up to add substance. I glued in the back (carefully) and sewed in the front. Fast forward to about 4:30 am after I wake up in a sweat because I had a weave nightmare, lol Now I’m up at 5 with a seam ripper TAKING IT OUT! and then I redid my hair with the glue (using a new kind, Liquid Gold - got that from that discussion group. Liked it better). So I like it now. I just felt that you could see the track or something - though both mini-me and Caun told me no, lol I tell yah - I need to just chill.
I am countdown to my mom coming and we’re getting excited. I need to put a counter up, This should be fun.
Well I hear Moe’s (restaurant) calling me to start the festivities, so let me go ADIOS!!

Wow, I can’t believe you have the patience and energy to put your own weave in. I’m too lazy to rollerset mine!
I miss my Corona. That was my STAPLE back in my drinking days. Back then it was 3 to get buzzed, 4 to get nice and 6 to get “crunk”. LOL.
Hey Pam,
I think when I weave, the girl who does it uses the braiding weave to give it more weight to support the sewing. Happy Cinco De Mayo!
