How Ya’ll doing?!  Let me say BIRMINGHAM SUXS, lol lol If you live there - please tell me something progressive and hip and fly about the place.  We were there all day yesterday and it was dry dull and if it wasn’t for the company; I would have ran barefoot back down I20 to Georgia, lol lol

You ever have a moment with your child that is so eerily similar to your own experience at that age that it totally deflates the moment and you first have to deal with your feelings and then work on backing down off your child because you understand all to readily?  I had that moment with mine and now I’m wrapping my mind around how my mom dealt with it and made it worse or how I am going to deal with it (nothing serious just being 14 - God it’s such an emotional time) yet remain the parent and a serious parent at that.  Sometimes it takes wayy more than Calgon.

We are contemplating moving because CAUN (who thanks everyone for their kind words. I found the piece to be a bit self absorbed for myself - I already got folks looking sideway and rolling their eyes at me, but I loves that man! and I appreciate that he and I got a LOVE THANG!) Oh yea, lol  we are looking at getting a bigger house (Ya’ll know we ghetto fabulous renters - so we can move about as we please) because it seems as if his clothes have told us to GET OUT!!  We need some office space and we need some closet space.  Amazing!  So we are rolling it around.

Thursday kicks off R&B Live at The New Atrium (for ATL Folks) - I will post the flier later on tonite when I scan it.  Hope you can make it out - it’s all the way LIVE!!!

So anyway - this needs to be quick. I have a shit load of stuff to get done and little time to get it done in.  Awhile back AR GAL (one of my favorite blogs) did a slide shoe of her shoe game. I was mega impressed and was hoping that when folks read they would break out theirs as well.  I haven’t seen it, but I told her on her blog that I would.  So today is about that shoe.  I love shoes way more than I love clothes, lol I especially love boots, guess it’s the superhero in me, lol Part of my thang is of course finding the best for less. I have bought very little shoes from retail.  I find them at consignment shops and the thrift. Most of my shoes are 9 west because I like their fit.  The coach boots I got for $25 from a consignment shop - I went on the hunt to find something similar and ended at $125 so that was hella cool.
