Ok daytime TV sucks!  I can’t quite figure out (1) how I used to be longing for it and ((2) how anyone is watching it today.

How ya’ll be?  I’ve been doing fine - thanks for asking.  Just enjoying the day off. This is an important one cause we won’t be getting another one till when MEMORIAL DAY?!  DAYUM! That’s a long way away.

• I was watching Half and Half today and that’s when the sorrow of Girlfriends came slamming down on me. I’ve hung on for SEVEN YEARS to see Joan get a man and get married and now I get NOTHING!  This is just not right. Just like with Half and Half where we were left hanging as to who Mona picked!  This is just wrong.
• What happened to that martin movie that was supposedly shot?
• Divorce Court with Judge Mabeleen is on TV-One now at 4 and 4:30pm
• How possibly can those midgets that won American Gladiators be the next Gladiators?
• Speaking of that show, doesn’t Helga scare you?
• A Different World and Living Single still have as strong a show legs as they had when they originally came out. 
• The entire 8 seasons of the Cosby show is coming out this fall as a box set? It’s probably going to be wha…$300
• The next time you watch The Temptation - during the "Make me wanna shout’ segment - Isn’t that Caun in all his glory as David Ruffin - freak it - here it is right here:

• I was afraid to watch "Knight Rider" - I might not even see "Speed Racer" I liked the versions that are attached to my youth, they keep fucking up my memories.
• A Martin Marathon still makes me hollar.  Pretty Rickey what they call him, lol lol lol
• Does anyone watch the following shows:  "Big Medicine" "My House is Worth What?" "Flip this house" "Flip That house" "My Shocking Story" "Snapped"  "Captured" ?
• Now that the strike is over - do we really care?  Haven’t you finally gotten full use of most of your cable channels?
• These lipstick jungles etc. type shows - just leave it be, let Sex and the City be what it is?
• I think I need to start from season one and watch the wire.  Folks talking about it for years like it’s the second coming. Now that it’s going off - I’m intrigued.  Besides I’ve never seen Idris as Stringer.
• I watched the entire last season of Noah’s Arc and I miss that show so.  I hope that the movie is finally beginning to take shape like I read over at Rod’s.
• Am I the only one who wishes that TV one would replay Generations during the day?
• Why did they take "The Proud Family" off the air?  That was hilarious.

So outside of watching television, I laid around because I didn’t quite feel myself, "Janet" came over to visit, we went looking at some bigger houses, I did schoolwork and tried to reach my counselor, worked on my Avon, read some magazines, pared down my google reader to 28 blogs, read them all so now I’m caught up and just chilled. 

I hope that everyone’s Valentine’s Day went well whether you were loving yourself or others or speading hate for the day all around, lol lol

Three day weekend coming up - nothing spectacular planned.  I have some paperwork to go through and organize, before it gets unmanagable.  School work of course, and begin to pull together the necessary things to stifle the latest background drama going on in my life.

I tell you how can you be living in a relm you really believe is fabulous and then have this whole other demon that constantly keeps throwing shit in your face!

I HATE MY FINANCES!! 

I HATE MONEY! 

I HATE THE STUPID ASS MISTAKES I MADE IN THE PAST!!

Trust - they do come back to haunt you and at almost 42 it’s NOT a pretty picture.  I will make it through however, I got Caun - and I know how to pick up the phone and call a lawyer.  Enough on that.

Oh and did I tell you that my school are pricks!  I got my final disbursement of funding and they didn’t pay for all of my balance and it was available - so now I owe them some loot and thus I am hostile and when they open up I’m calling again because the purpose of the financial assistance is to take care of my educational needs.  Did it not register that was the purpose - if I had of known this I would have sent the refund check back to close out my account!!  It just keeps coming and coming!  I’m ok - I’ll just pay it off over the summer and enroll in Graduate school in the fall (once they release my freaking diploma).  I was contemplating taking the summer off anyway - so now I guess that was decided for me.

Well ya’ll be easy and I’ll see yah on the otherside of Sunday!

On the real though - Happy Valentines Day to anyone who feels like they wit it.  I know this can be a rough time for folks. 

I woke up this morning to Mike and his Thriller 25th Anniversary CD/DVD collection laying beside me - He got on the MARTA train to a special picture (hehehe) filled with love on his cell phone.  Tonite we will do dinner at Chopstixs - an old haunt of Whitney and Bobby’s and a VERY GOOD High End Chinese Restaurant.

I won’t belabor anyone today - I wanna go finish doing my reading and see what others are doing or not doing today.  I’ll just leave you with a post Caun did last year for Valentines Day:

Pamalicious circa 1967 Age:  1 1/2

Hey ya’ll!  What’s getting at cha this morning?!  I am in a pretty good mood today.  I happened across a Demo from one of the DJ’s Caun was interviewing and I jammed so hard on the way to work this morning.  Mannn I still can’t understand why you would want to hear 5-6 hours of "I shot my nigga and then fucked his hoe" music all night long when you can throw on some 80’s or 90’s bangers and it be on and poppin!!  But then again, I’m almost 42 - I have crossed the threshold into not understanding a lot about what turns the youth on.
