losing steam….

This is post 225 on this blog.  I am sitting here trying to figure out exactly what to blog about.  I just don’t have anything to talk about. (Now of course this will end up being 5 paragraphs of me not having anything to blog about, lol).

Right now my life is static.  I am just living and it’s not necessary to blog about it.  I am not even really focusing on the world around me - so I don’t even have any commentary.

I am working, schooling, living and loving and that’s about it.  I think that I am going to cut down on the daily blogging.

I’ll be blogging M-W-F from now on.

This will allow topics to surface and keep it fresh over here.  It also will allow me to do something that has started to get a bit….pushed to the side - MY JOB.  That’s why I cut down on the blogs I read and now I am going to space out my blogging.

I was reading Minus the Bars and he had a very good piece about blogs etc. etc.  I am not necessarily sure as to why I blog anymore.  I’ve been at it since 2005.  My following is small but intense - I never quite got ‘in the blog loop’ so to speak, because I don’t comment or engage in ‘conversation’ like a lot of bloggers do.  Why must everything boil down to….popularity?  Therefore, I don’t think I’ve been inspired to evolve the blog.  I don’t know exactly where the blog should evolve to.  I need to spend some time on my chocolate fantasy blog. That always makes me feel better, lol

I will admit blogging has totally fucked up my writing style.  Between it and discussion group fodder - it can be difficult to write technically.  My Masters program is like writing central SIGH.  I don’t have that much to say about ANYTHING!

Blogging saved my life in some ways.  Getting all of this stuff off of my chest has been the greatest push for my own self development as an adult.  This has been the best free therapy I’ve ever had.  It’s freed up so much space in my head to make progress on those things I don’t talk about on the blog.

Sometimes I wish I could just go buck on this here blog and talk about things that I don’t like a blow by blow of my sex life, what I really think about some people in my life, my job, my family and all of their drama etc.  but um Caun’s mom reads this blog, my co workers dip in and out and others so I have a sort of electric fence around this place.

I already run my mouth WAYY to much - I don’t need to say anything else here or in my offline life, lol

So see like I said, lol having nothing to talk about equates about wha..six paragraphs, lol

I’ll be back on Friday, I actually just thought of a subject I want to address, lol lol

Peace!

Isn’t reading/posting blogs the BEST free therapy ever? I don’t need a couch. All I need is my computer. LOL

I know, even out of the 15 people that read my blog, as it turns out 2 or 3 know. Just that phenomenon stops me from sharing much of anything juicy on my blog. It’s unfortunate, because I’d love to let loose on there a little bit. Maybe one day when I have more time (ha!), and can devote more time to blogging, I’ll take the time to really set up a truly anonymous site…

I meant to say, “2 or 3 know me.”

Im just glad you still read mine. Between the Blogger Beta Drama, real life Blogger drama and my temporary switch to Vox, my regular readers have dwindled. Most people dont even know I have a blog anymore! My site meter is all people from Germany and Yemen who were doing a Google search. LOL!

I started following you about two blogs ago, because you were writing about turning forty and I was 38 at the time. It was good to blog with somebody who was over twenty-five and spoke the same language! So we’ll see you on M-W-F and um… feel free to work on that Chocolate Blog anytime you want.

    :-P

Hey, that still leaves enough posts for me to catch up on! lol I must admit, I’m much better at reading blogs than I am at posting on my own! Everyone’s life always seems so much interesting than mine, lol lol lol. Oh well….as is life.

You still have a fan in me!
