** You are getting a double Throwback Thursday Post today because I am quite amped about what I just found out and wanted to share!**

I haven’t watched a daytime soap since mini-me was an infant. I got back involved because I was on bed rest. When she was born, I’m embarrassed to say that the theme song from Young and the Restless was like a lullaby for her, lol   Prior to that I hadn’t watched soaps since High School.  You know Luke and Laura etc. etc. Well one of my favorites back then was All My Children and the Jessie and Angie and Tad and Jenny storyline.  I watched it religiously…at school, lol  in the theatre room, lol  Folks cut school a lot to watch it as well.  Ya’ll know we all fell out when Jessie died, and we followed Angie and Frankie over to the short lived ‘The City’

Anyhoo - I read on Yahoo that after 20 years (which is about right) they are bringing Jessie and Angie back! The very first black soap super couple.  For some strange reason I am excited. I need to do some reading and go back a couple of months to catch up on the story lines but I’ll be taping this.  I think because it brings back so many memories.  They are due back tomorrow. Now if they would just bring back Generations - I’d be set, lol lol  Ya’ll remember Generations? The first attempt at a ‘Black" Soap Opera.  While I"m in the soap opera nostalgia mood here is a famous clip from Generations for you to enjoy:
