Ok people, I’m over here in desperate need of getting under my desk and SCREAMING.  There has been so much speculation concerning the Jackson Five New Years Eve Party, all kinds of rumors spreading around.  Now upfront ya’ll know even a themed party is good enough for me.  However, it seemed as if Jermaine Dupree was backing up off of his whole some form of the Jacksons in the literal sense was going to be at this event.  I hadn’t even heard any advertisements and I’ve heard other commercials for other events in town.

Well today I heard a full length commercial!  He is swearing that they are gonna be there.  Why would he risk his reputation, especially when he works in an industry where that means more than life itself, and not produce at minimum a cousin twice removed (lol). 

I googled the event and when I tell ya’ll it’s spread all around the country - I ain’t lying.

Now Mike continues to make it hard for anybody to take his ass seriously with foolishness like this:  right on the heels of making me moist by doing things like this:  so you know I’m all confused emotionally, but I hold on folks, I hold on.

Then my good ‘friends’ over at CONCRETE LOOP roll out the massive announcement that the Thriller 25th Anniversary is coming out February 12, 2008 and they discuss his next steps.  I go over to MIKES SITE and they got a whole slew of stuff he coming up with INCLUDING TOURING IN 08. 

ThoughtsofaSouthernGirl sends me the links to five of the new remixes.  Though I’m not sure what is ’special’ about them - I’m more looking forward to the extra stuff that we haven’t heard. That PTY remix is actually the original version. I liked it just as much as what ended up being released.  I have the ultimate boxed set - I need to pull that out. I’m about to cancel all other musicians for awhile so I can get in the right frame of mind.

I have lived a lifetime liking this family and I’ve lived out all of my Prince dreams - this was the final and ultimate music fan one for me. Some folks follow the Rolling Stones around the world, some folks will sell a Kidney to make sure they attend every Frankie Beverly and Maze concert and still more travel to the spots where the Grateful Dead played now that Garcia is dead - well this is my Holy Grail and it seems that in 2008 - all of my wildest dreams are gonna come true.  I’m just so freaking excited. I gotta rearrange my entire IPOD to go on this sabbatical. 

Well I just had to get that off of my chest. Please be aware there will be more of this as the time clicks away, lol
