What it T-I-S?!  I hope that everyone had a great holiday. My google queue is full and I’ll be checking those out as soon as I can to see how everyone’s long weekend went.

Right off the bat, I re-read what I wrote on Thanksgiving and burst out laughing. What articulate BS, lol  Not that it wasn’t true, but it reminded me of when you get your "I’m so Holy" voice on when you are speaking to folks, lol lol 

I actually lost one pound over this holiday!  YEA BABY!  I find that my eating revolves around work a lot.  During the week is that set 3 meals a day but on the weekends or when I’m home, I tend to nibble more so than have set meals outside of dinner.  I didn’t overdo it with the Thanksgiving meal, I took a walk and actually didn’t have the capacity to eat like a fool. Even when we went to Jillians, I cut my cheese steak in half and shared it with the hubby.  I’m looking for 10 more over the month of December and then I’ll be in a good place.  I figure this is the last time I’ll be able to lose without pretty much no exercise before the post age 40 metabolism comes to a complete stop so I better take advantage.

Up until Saturday we were broke, so it is a good thing that we love and like each other, cause those are two separate things, lol  Just like Family and Relatives, lol  I figured that out this weekend.

We went and saw "This Christmas"  it was good. One of those movies where when you are watching it it’s conversational but when you leave the theatre it’s forgettable.  The previews showing the absolutely awful movies coming up, was alarming.  Something about robbing a Church (what are you doing Ice Cube?!) and then one with Martin and Raven which I wanna go see because it’s screaming Mini-me and Caun.  It’s about her going off to college, lol

Yes I did step into a mall and was just MAD that I didn’t have like a couple of thousand to spend.  I did pick up some boots that I am rocking today.

Caun and I had to get our acts together.  I was in the braiders chair at 9:30 am on a Sunday, lol  He’s funny.  As ya’ll know men have different things that they like their woman to keep tight.  He wants me to be healthy, but he really wants my coif to be done, lol  (I have a post on this tomorrow).  I’ll unveil what I’m rocking tomorrow as well. 

I’m still Stanning on Beyonce, lol  Dayum!  I gotta put her up there with my ‘perfect’ women and there’s only two more and that’s Kenya Moore and Queen Latifah.  They are just the hotness to me!  I think I might buy that DVD, lol 

Well you know how it is when you just get back in the office.  OH - I got a 95 as a final grade on my last Degree Specific Course baby!  I hope this pushes me into honor roll status. I’m now taking my elective - Introduction to Film and then I begin my two Masters Level Smart Track classes to finish up this ole Bachelors Degree!  YEA!

So this week you’ll hear about Hair, old school TV, Raises, a check in on merging my family, and some love thangs about Caun :)
