What it T-I-S good people?!  Let’s jump right into monday and jump I mean.  For some reason I’m feeling real jittery, don’t know why.  I’m amped too.  Well I guess I better use this to my advantage and get some stuff done.  I can’t remember the last time ya’ll peeped a sista - so to refresh your memory, lol  I got my tree braids this past Sunday and I am feeling HOT! This is my style. I’ll be rocking this for a minute, especially since I seem to have bore a hole in my damn head.  I gotta let that grow back.

Why is it that every office I’m in has some kinda solid steel walls and I can’t get my radio to work worth shit?  I really need some noise at my desk and earphones are ok if it were not for the fact my CPU unit is on the floor and I haven’t found some long enough yet.  Also, I have to be answering the phone etc. etc.  so it becomes difficult.  I need to do the move the radio around the cube till I get a signal today.  I need some tunes.

This weekend was nice. The weather was georgous.  We were out in the sunshine for most of the weekend.  Operation - UPGRADE ME was in effect and I put 7 really nice coordinated among themselves outfits on the layaway at Burlington.  I also snagged two really good pairs of Nine West at the Thrift, that brings my new shoe total up to 8. I’m about to get it on and poppin.  Caun has been sniffing around all weekend, lol lo So I guess I got the stamp of approval. 

It was all about rocking our best feminine at our house this weekend.  The girls and I did some pampering and Goddess (after all that Dominican Hairdresser hunt etc, ) decided to get CORNROWS. She added hair so now she got hair to her butt and those olympic ring earrings and she’s in 14 year old heaven.  T-minus 6 days people!  T-minus 6 days!  Baby Chocolate Poundcake got her hair done and acquired a pocketbook, cause all ladies carry those and she was styling and profiling, even though she got a little overzealous with the cocoa butter oil, lol lol 

We stumbled upon the Annual Aids walk downtown and had an opportunity to view several panels of the AIDS quilt. I took this time to talk with Goddess about AIDS and HIV and prevention and myths and legends as we walked and looked.  I got a bit emotional because one of my dearest friends is HIV postive and even though he’ll probably outlive me because he takes very good care of himself - I have alerted myself that I might have to deal with death…….

So I’m feeling good.  Aced my last class with an A and this class is not going to stress me out,  sold a text book for $60 in my quest to get me a blackjack phone, Caun scored us tickets to see Stevie Wonder at Philips, I have lost a total of 9 pounds which is the most I’ve lost in awhile.  WW is not a bad plan at all - I think I’mma stay with it and see where it leads me.  I am still semi-cerebral so who knows where my blogsphere will go this week.

Send up some prayers for my mom, she just got out the hospital and is recuperating from a bad case of Bronchitis.

Finally,  you know there comes a time when I even have to shake my head.  Signs your Husband is really involved in the happenings in his house..CAUN I’mma need you to do better!
