Riding the Random Pony

Hey Ya’ll!  Hope everyone is well.  Before I begin, I wanted to give a shout out to Rosalind.  Thanks for the kind words, you are probably right.  Also, CAUN sends his thanks for the well wishes.  His swagger is back - that’s always a good thing.

So I’m still, as you can tell, on the Random Pony.  Scattered thoughts sometimes are the best ones…

About that whole Bacon and Sausage thing:  Jenny O doesn’t dip their bacon and the Turkey Sausage can be found not cased in pork YET I don’t like Turkey Sausage when it’s like Hilshire Farms - so I shy away.  Amour makes beef patties and links and so I will eat those.  I just think that it’s a lesson in reading labels for various reasons and quite frankly false advertising.

What is it that you love about the way you look?  What turns you on about yourself?  I was looking in the mirror this morning thinking about that.  I think that if you find that something or somethings it does make you feel better. I will stare until I see my beauty within no matter how long it takes.

I bought my mattress in 1992, while I was still married to my first husband. Let me repeat that I bought my mattress from IKEA in 1992, which means that every man I’ve ever slept with I’ve slept with on that mattress.  For some strange reason I told CAUN that last night.  He did not get up and go sleep on the couch, lol.  The realization that damn my mattress is a journal is really deep.  I think it’s time to start anew.  I also think IKEA ROCKS!  Cause my mattress is still good.

I am going to buy me a journal and start longhanding again.  I want to be able to download in the evenings.

Exactly what is wrong with going to get a colonic with your best friend? LOL That’s the beauty of women friendships - we don’t care?

Ok, you are fly, you are well put together, you have material stuff..but do you have class?  Class is such an evasive thing.  I learned that yesterday.

My mom is the queen of homeopathic do dads. She is always sending me some horse pill or something. Well she’s outdone herself this time.  She sent me some pads that you put on the balls of your feet like a maxi pad and sleep in them and they withdraw toxins etc. overnight from the soles of your feet.  I tried it last night and was surprised to see toxins the next morning and quite pleased that apparently I’m not as filthy on the inside as I thought.

This past weekend, I missed my brother just a little bit.  He was my favorite but, I have to go back so far in my mind to find the place where that was warranted.  I missed him in my life this past weekend - yet he’s not ready for primetime, therefore I continue to miss him.

I am wondering how to take the blog to the next level.  So far I have Monday Musings, Tuesday Five, What’s Happening Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and Friday Fandango.  I wanted some structure, but don’t want to be bound to it.  I see ideas others are doing and I might be taking a big bite out of some of it.  It’s that Tuesday/Wednesday slot that is the problem.  I want to keep the blog relevant and entertaining.  I might have to step into the visual arena……..I just gotta corral CAUN in for that one.  If Scoop and his wife can do it - we can do it too!

According to Google Reader I have 235 blog entries to read.  Be on the lookout for me running my mouth on your spot.

Because I am not in blogger anymore, I leave my name and page in your comment section.  I’m not trying to jack swagger - just want some love too. Especially those site that don’t take Anon.  If you want me to stop let me know.

Well my allotted time for blogging is coming to a close, lol  I now must go and email some folks, work on my AVON Flyers, maybe create a blogger page where you can order from me, pay on paypal and I can branch out.  A busy day!  A busy day!

Don’t forget Law and Order SVU premieres tonite and it looks OFF THA CHAIN!

You are right on the money with the turkey and other sausage products…I was incredibly peeved to find out these chicken sausages I sucked down were encased in natural pork casings.

I’ve gotten away from the real hardcore reading and didn’t catch that until after I had consumed 3 packages (different varieties…I saved the labels so I could repurchase in the future).

There was a website I had that listed kosher foods and I used that to make choices but also now with choosing vegan or vegetarian I’m able to choose without alot of label reading cause I know it’s pork-free.
