Monday Musings
Now THAT’s a Fire!
Hello good people! I hope that your weekend was as relaxing and full of peace as mine was.
First we got to see Chocolate Baby Poundcake! Yep! We went to see Shrek 3 (which I give a C, the characters were cool, but the storyline was sorely lacking - make sure you stay for the song during the closing credits, hilarious).

We also got a chance to take a complete family portriat! I am so happy about this and it will be displayed proudly on my desk at the new offices.
It is two weeks from Memorial Day and I couldn’t take it anymore - I went and got me a grill!

As you can see, Caun put that bad boy together with the quickness and over the course of the weekend we bbq’ed up everything in the house, lol
Of course, as with alot of things we do together, there is much comedy. I bought this Walmart brand charcoal and I saw Caun looking like ‘here she go with the no names’ well let me tell you we almost burned the damn house down, lol lol.

The $6.00 charcoal was hot as hades, lol lol Damn near melted the $20 grill, lol That charcoal was definately for a more expensive grill, lol lol Our teeth are pearly white from eating the charbroiled BBQ from Saturday, lol By Sunday, Caun took over and we had some very nice and succulent bbq chicken. OH yea!

I also got to indulge in my new discovery…Corona, lol It was quite tastey and actually gave me a buzz after two. I felt so alive sitting out on the patio, drinking a beer, watching the grill and playing cards with Caun. It was perfect weather and just a perfect time.
Sunday, I put on my battle gear and took a trip to the mall to get Goddess an outfit for the commencement speech on Thursday. It actually went well. We didn’t fall out and I worked hard to stay within the boundaries but stay in 2007 and not push what I would wear onto her. Man that chile know she got a flat stomach. She put on some top and I just wanted to run and stick my head in the fountain of hateration, lol lol On my own child no less, lol lol
This week I am taking Goddess to school, so I can get an extra half hour sleep. I spent some time trying to start to outline our needs for this Disney trip in July and map out other things we have to take care of, running a household as a single parent is challenging, but it can be quite overwelming doing it when you add on other people. I’ve had to face the fact that I have to retire some of my single mom hustling because it doesn’t benefit us as an expanded family. I’ve also had to realize that bills have increased. For instance my grocery bill has just went up - no way around it and to keep budgeting as if it hadn’t and then run into trouble by the extra is just foolish.
What in Freaking Hell is gas at $3.15 for?! I’m parking DQ - that bitch bout to be on blocks!
Well, let me get to this weeks - - um, stuff yea that’s the word stuff, lol

Corona was my signature drink from my old drinking days!
I look at my oldest dd’s body - her body is AMAZING (and yes, she’s only 5 - but her shape is off da chain, LOL). She has the butt I always wanted. My poor 3 year old got Mama’s pancake booty. LOL.
